What you published was actually very reasonable. But, think on this, what if you added a little content? I am not suggesting your content isn't good, however suppose you added something to maybe grab a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little boring. You might look at Yahoo's front page and note how they create news headlines to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a pic or two to grab readers interested about what you've written. In my opinion, it might bring your website a little livelier.
